SAGINAW, MICH. (January 22, 2014) – Recently Morley completed a multimillion-dollar renovation project at its headquarters in Saginaw Township, infusing money into the local economy and creating a “great place to work” environment for its 1,700+ associates.
As part of this initiative Morley has implemented several technical upgrades to support the company’s growing client projects. For instance, a new contact center platform is helping Morley reach its clients’ stakeholders via phone, web chat, text message and social media, and a new outbound predictive dialer phone system is now in place for Morley’s customer service and market research projects.
“We’ve made significant technical upgrades to support the company’s growing business. These facility improvements are all about creating a great work environment for our associates and providing outstanding service to our clients,” said Dick Mott, Morley vice president and CFO.
Morley selected primarily local contractors for the yearlong project, which included electrical, plumbing, HVAC, architecture, landscaping, fire suppression, interior and exterior construction, an IT network solution and new furnishings.
Mott added, “We had a great experience over the last year working with so many local contractors, and collaborating on how to make our workspaces the best they could be.”
Renovations began in 2012 after Morley incorporated the AT&T facility at 4075 Bay Road into its growing campus. This complex, located at the corner of Bay and McCarty roads, is just blocks from Morley’s headquarters campus at One Morley Plaza, on the corner of Fashion Square Boulevard and Schust Road.
Additional Morley renovations:
- A remodeled on-site cafeteria, with indoor and outdoor seating. Healthy food choices are offered, in alignment with Morley’s wellness initiative.
- A new on-campus gym accommodates up to 50 associates at a time with workout equipment and a wide range of no-cost classes, including Pilates, yoga, kickboxing, muscle sculpting and other sessions.
- Morley transformed an outdoor courtyard into a space for impromptu meetings and associate breaks. The renovation included new tiles, landscaping and grills for cookouts.
