• Morley-Built Exhibits Help Detroit Historical Museum Win National Award

SAGINAW, MICH (September 2014) – The American Association for State and Local History has awarded the Detroit Historical Museum the 2014 Award of Merit for its recent exhibit renovations, completed as part of a five-year, $20.1 million Past>Forward fundraising campaign. Morley served as fabricator for five new galleries that replaced the museum’s decades-old exhibits, and designer/fabricator for a sixth: the Kid Rock Music Lab, which celebrates the city’s musical past.

The new exhibits share Detroit’s diverse history with visitors of all ages, learning styles and mobility through a variety of media, hands-on interactives, artifacts and environments.
